We go beyond the ordinary! Advanced dentistry, exceptional amenities for the best patient experience

More than 700 healthcare practitioners are characterized as “general dentists” in our area of south-central Texas. While Dr. Fortuna Vardeman provides the comprehensive services that individuals come to expect from general dentistry providers, she stands out favorably from other dentists in Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, Universal City, Marion, Garden Ridge, and well beyond.

In part, Dr. Vardeman is an accomplished implantologist. She provides advanced surgical services, including the placement of complex implant systems. Additionally, Randolph Family Dental fabricates dental materials and restorations on-site due to our in-house lab and our use of computer-aided CEREC software and equipment. Our use of technologies to support the best, most convenient, and comfortable experience does not stop there; we have also invested in dental lasers for painless, precision periodontal (and other therapies) and cutting-edge diagnostics to support accurate, speedy, low-radiation, and non-invasive diagnoses.

Due to Dr. Vardeman’s emphasis on training and investments in the latest dental techniques, we offer a full range of optimal services to patients of all ages, and we are able to accompany them on their lifelong oral health journeys! These services include:

  • Proactive, regular professional cleanings and comprehensive oral exams
  • Routine oral cancer screenings
  • Nonsurgical deep cleanings and surgical therapies for gum disease
  • Preventative fluoride supplements and dental sealants
  • Oral appliance therapies (mouthguards, oral splints)
  • Advanced wisdom teeth extractions
  • Advanced sinus lift augmentation
  • All-on-4 dental implant systems to replace many missing teeth
  • Durable and highly aesthetic dental restorations (fillings, onlays, inlays, crowns)
  • Cosmetic dentistry, such as GLO® teeth whitening and composite and porcelain dental veneers
  • Affordable Whitening for Life program to sustain the results from GLO®
  • Full-mouth smile makeovers and rehabilitation
  • Relaxing sedation dentistry (even deep sedation for severe “dentophobia”)
  • Braces alternative, Invisalign® — straighten teeth with clear aligners
  • And this list is just the start!

Fact or myth? Expensive toothpastes are always better than cheaper ones. Myth. Different toothpastes are better for different teeth in situations. Sometimes moderately priced toothpaste can be more effective. Ask the dentist about what might be best for your teeth. And always look for the ADA seal of approval. Fact or myth? If a tooth is white, it must be healthy. Myth. Under the surface there may be cavities, problems with the root or other abnormalities. Fact or Myth? Teeth whitening is harmful because it damages enamel. Myth. There are many modern teeth whitening processes that have minimal harmful effects. Teeth whitening isn’t for every mouth or person though. Consult the dentist before you proceed with whitening treatments. Fact or myth? Dentists should be feared. Myth. With today’s advancements in technology and safety practices there is nothing to worry about. Procedures are as quick and painless as ever. Fact or myth? You should visit your dentists at least twice a year. FACT.
